my 2022 vision board + why you should make yours

Hey y’all! I hope you’ve had a great week! I’ve been trying to keep up with posting, and I think I’ve done a pretty good job. Today I’ll be showing you my 2022 vision board, how I made it, and why you should make one too.

This is my 2022 vision board (the little spots are covering up a personal photo)

  1. I first chose a color scheme to make my vision board cohesive. I chose a light beige, green, and white.

These are some colors close to my vision board.

2. Figure out what you want to be in 2022

This is basically making goals.

  • I added pictures of journaling because I want to do more of that in 2022.
  • I added pictures of Paris because I’ve been there once and it’s my favorite place I’ve ever been to.
  • I added some smoothie / acai bowls, and oatmeal bowls because I think they taste super good.
  • I added pictures of flexibility / working out because those are things I want to focus on in 2022.
  • Then I filled the rest of the collage with inspo quotes, these really cute nails, and some cute outfits.

3. Find photos that have your goals and color scheme

This step is pretty explanatory lol.

4. Open up Canva or a Google Slide

If you don’t want use Canva, you can also use a Google Slide. I’d recommend using Canva because there are filters, but I’ll get back into that later.

5. Use a filter

I’d like to thank Diary Of A Daydreamer for mentioning that Canva has filters, because I wouldn’t have known if she hadn’t said that lol. I linked her post where she described her vision board. I used the filter called Fresco.

This makes everything match, just like she said.

why should i make one?

  • You can have a visual reminder of your goals whenever you open your computer
  • They’re super fun to make
  • You can get inspo from other people’s vision boards

And a soo many more!

I hope you enjoyed this post, and I’ll see you next week!

utah photo dump

Hey y’all! I went to Utah! It was absolutely amazing and the snow was wonderful! So, I thought, why not make a photo dump. This is probably going to be a super short post just with pictures, but, why not?

I hope you enjoy!

I know todays post was super short, but I just wanted to share a little photo dump and I hope you enjoyed! See you next week!

hey, i’m back + recent favorites

Hey there! How you doing?? I missed y’all! Welcome back.

In my last post, I said I was in a blogging slump. Now… I guess I’m not? 🙂 I’ve been trying to get more sleep, and boy, has it been helping! Recently, I’ve been starting to write some short songs, and it’s been super fun. I love blogging, as a whole, and all that jazz! So, yea, I’m back, and hopefully to stay for a while.

So, today I’ll be sharing what I’ve been loving recently. I’m going to divide it off into categories, and share some different stuff for each.

☼ Of course, I’ve been loving Olivia Rodrigo’s SOUR.

☼ I’m still loving Allison Deitz’s Pretty Lies!

☼ I recently discovered Tate McRae and she’s pretty awesome.

Ruth B. is amazing. I’ve heard of her because of her song Lost Boy, but now my favorite song of hers is Dandelions.

☼ A little while ago, I made a playlist ‘chill vibes’ and I find myself listening to it all the time! It has some of all the artists I mentioned above, plus some others!

☼ I got a white 32 oz. Hydroflask recently, and it’s super amazing!

☼ I’m super hyped about this one!! I got an Apple Watch SE!! It’s super amazing, and I’ve been trying to close my rings everyday.

☼ I got this planner for school, it’s by the happy planner, it’s this adorable pastel orange color, and it says “Happiness Blooms from within! The Happy Planner is great because you can write down all your homework, but there is an individual space for other things, like how you showed kindness, or what was exciting that day. I really recommend one.

☼ My best friend has these PaperMate Inkjoy Pens, and I’ve been missing out!!! They literally make your handwriting so cute. Next year, I will definitely get some for school, but I got a 24 pack of the regular ones, and I’m not saying those are bad! 🙂

☼ Recently I’ve been trying to get more organized, and I now am doing so much better for leaving for the bus, and going to bed!

☼ I’ve started journaling every night before bed, and it’s really great and helps me get out my thoughts.

on my podcast, i’m probably going to post like once a month or something.

a real life update

Hi. I’m not going to take the time to type out an intro, I just want to get straight to the point.

To say it simply, I’m in a blogging slump. Maggie wrote a great post about it here. I have some post ideas, but I’m not motivated enough to write about them. It’s not just blogging I’ve been ‘slumping’ about. I haven’t been as enthusiastic lately.

My school starts next wednesday. Wait, no, this wednesday, because I’m writing this on friday the 6th. I’m sad that summer’s over, but I’m glad to see my friends in person back at school. I’ve been getting back in the habit of waking up early, and I’ve been very drowsy. 6:30 mornings aren’t the greatest.

Last year at school, I was stuck in some friend drama, and I’m nervous that it will happen all over again. At the end of the year, I kind of sorted it out, and figured out a few things about friendship that I didn’t know before. I’m scared that the drama will happen again. But, now I know more, so I’m hoping I can avoid it. I’m the kind of person that is very dramatic ;P, but I stop when I know it will hurt someone. This was not the same. This was worrying about what will happen the next day every night.

Once the school year starts, I’ll be overloaded with homework, miscommunications, and questions. I really need to get into a better schedule so I can manage blogging, my podcast, and school work. I might go down on podcast episodes, but right now, honestly, I’m not sure.

I’ve been recently trying to catch up with friends before they go back to school. This summer, I’ve really only seen my best friend. I guess I’ve FaceTimed some people, but only once or twice. This summer, I haven’t been super social, I guess you could say.

This summer, I’ve been trying to get organized in itself, but there is something that’s always in disarray. Now, I’m trying to learn that everything isn’t going to be perfect and come perfect. But really, I’m realizing that not everything is perfect, but there is a lot of joy in my life, and that’s all I need. To be happy, healthy, and loved.

Recently, I’ve been listening to a lot of allison dietz. Her voice is beautiful and all of her songs just put a smile on my face. Make sure to check her out on Spotify. Also, my recent saying is really just a word, but eunoia has been my recent motivation. It means beautiful thinking.
